Choosing An Agent
Who can best help you get to your goal?
All agents can show you property, or market yours. Most use the MLS (Multiple Listing Service.) Much of the difference is in the personal interaction, experience and attention to detail. Ask yourself these questions before choosing an agent:
-
Do they understand where I'm coming from and my desire for a straightforward, no-nonsense experience?
-
Is their main concern to help me reach my goal? Are they asking the kinds of questions that will lead me to my own decisions, or are they guiding me toward what works best for them?
-
Do they tend to guide toward properties they have listed and away from others that interest me?
-
Do they address my concerns directly, or do they do an end run around topics they wish to avoid, or questions they don't know the answers to?
-
Do they listen well?
-
Is there pressure to choose them as my agent, or is the decision left solely to me?
-
Are they prompt and dependable?
-
Is their information reliable?
-
Do they have experience?
-
Will they sell or distribute my personal information?
-
Can they offer testimonials from other clients?
We believe we can give you the best possible real estate experience. But don't take our word for it. Look around. Compare agents for yourself. Ask questions. In short, be informed. When you're ready, come talk to us, then place us side by side with the rest and see how we compare to the others. And as always, be true to yourself.
