Santa Clarita Board of Realtors
You may not know this, but The Santa Clarita Board of Realtors is a Satellite office of the Much larger and greater Southland Regional Association of Realtors - the SRAR.
In fact, if you head over to their Main Board of Realtors website at SRAR dot com, you will see a site where you, as a buyer, seller, investor or "wanna be" Realtor, can get Gobs of Information about the home buying and selling process using a Licensed Realtor.
When we first got into real estate back in 1998, we could not have functioned unless we became part of a Larger process.
First, we joined a Real Estate brokerage. Our choice was REMAX of Santa Clarita which seemed, and still does, to fit with my LAPD background and what our client's needs are. Service and protection is the key to our Paris911 Business model and REMAX affords us with the keeping of our Model.
Second, we needed to get aligned with the proper certifications and licensing by the Local Boards of Realtors. That is when we came to the Southland Regional Association of Realtors and joined. The cost of admission was not for the faint of heart. It was not a "sign up one day and become a Realtor the next" type of process. It took time and we needed to attend orientation and learn all the Rules that came with becoming Santa Clarita Boards of Realtors members.
The best part of this process with us joining, was the "rules". There were things that, being licensed realtors, prevented the Real Estate agents from doing. There were lines and boundaries, that if broken, would have the Realtor Licensee at the Board of Realtors in trouble with fines and even with revoked memberships.
I thought to myself, the same went for the LAPD - there were rules. If I had broken them, I'd get into trouble, potentially jailed, fined and without a LEO career.
Santa Clarita Valley has gotten so much larger than it was back in the mid 1980's. Today, the Southland Regional Association of Realtors has a satellite office in Santa Clarita CA. We all refer to it as the local Santa Clarita Board of Realtors. It is manned - I should say "womanned" - because, as of the date of this post about the Santa Clarita Board of Realtors - Margaret, Becky and Kayla are at the helm with the local branch of the SRAR.
They are all wonderful and did not pay me to say that. If you are the "real estate interested" - stop by at their offices on Soledad Canyon - Santa Clarita Board of Realtors: 20655 Soledad Canyon Road, Suite 33, Canyon Country CA, 91351 - Phone: and fax:
