Best Search System for Santa Clarita and CA Real Estate
Searching for homes Beware. Googling local cities and neighborhoods, can place you at risk. Risk of losing your identity or having your personal information sold to real estate agents.
I'm a real estate agent, but I don't pay for your personal and private information to Zillow or Trulia.
I built our own actual MLS, multiple listing service, connected system. This is what you need to be using because it get's the current real estate listings directly from the Boards of Realtors.
You need to be a Realtor in order to publish the real estate listings. I am and we do. The system we have built is called SCVnest.com
Paris911.com is our main website - but it reroutes all real estate searches to our REMAX SCVnest website.
However, instead of taking you there right away, I wanted to explain why our system is different from those you will find at the top of the internet searches for particular cities and communities related to real estate.
Zillow and Trulia are real estate syndication websites. If you do a Santa Clarita Search on Zillow, you are getting the listings which have been fed to them by individual brokerages. You are only seeing the real estate listings which are "allowed" to be displayed on their systems.
This means you are missing some of the homes for sale. Not all real estate sellers, or brokers allow their home listings to show up on the real estate syndication websites.
In addition, you will see that they have "other listings". Those "other listings" are those which the agents who pay them, are allowed to post up on Zillow and Trulia. There is no police mechanism to enforce whether they are real or not. Only payment to zillow and trulia is required to post.
This reminds me of when the real estate magazines were in their max stride. The agents who had no code, could take a fake listing and put a super low price tag on it, then display it in the real estate publication to generate leads. There was no enforcement mechanism.
The Boards of Realtors is that enforcement mechanism that keeps SCVnest in check. I have to be a realtor, I have to be in good standing, I have to be the member of the Board of Realtors and I have to be working under or be a broker in good standing. I have to be insured and carry E and O insurance.
I'm here for you. Please let me know when I may be of service and thanks for taking the time to catch up about the Multiple Listing Service and how to search for real estate in the best ways.
